Unlike conventional social media, Peedhee is designed around family—not followers, advertising or irrelevant content. Families can create profiles, build maternal and paternal branches, share private updates, record elder stories, preserve cultural heritage and securely store meaningful content. Peedhee transforms family history from names and dates into a living, evolving family story.

Peedhee allows families to build an interactive tree connecting maternal and paternal relatives equally. You can add parents, grandparents, spouses, children, siblings, extended relatives, in-laws and other recognised family relationships across more than 16 generations. Family members can be invited to join, verify their profiles and contribute information. Peedhee helps prevent duplicate profiles and provides privacy settings for controlling visibility. Adoptive, blended and extended family structures can also be represented. Instead of displaying only names and dates, each person can be connected to photographs, stories, milestones, recordings and a meaningful life history.

The Relatives tab helps you discover, understand and stay connected with your wider family network. You can search for relatives, visit their profiles and use the Relationship Path to understand exactly how two people are connected. Family invitations allow relatives to join and contribute to the shared legacy. Location-based features can help you explore where participating relatives live across cities, countries and continents, subject to their privacy choices. You can also follow selected relatives and receive relevant updates, making it easier to maintain meaningful family relationships regardless of distance, family size or generation.

Family Tree & Geneology

My Family brings your maternal branch, paternal branch, relatives, relationship paths and managed profiles into one organised space. A family can appoint up to five trusted Family Admins to help manage membership, invitations, profile connections, permissions and shared information. Admins may review access requests, address disputed relationships, support duplicate-profile resolution and help moderate family content. Their powers remain governed by Peedhee’s permissions and privacy controls. Shared administration prevents one person from carrying every responsibility while helping families maintain an accurate, respectful and collaborative family network across multiple branches, locations and generations.

The Family Feed is a private space for sharing updates, photographs, videos, memories, achievements and celebrations with approved family members. Relatives can comment, react and interact with posts, helping important moments become part of the family’s continuing story. Unlike mainstream social media, the Feed focuses on meaningful family connections rather than strangers, advertisements or irrelevant trends. Visibility controls determine who can view each update. Users can manage notifications, mute selected activity, report inappropriate content and block unwanted interactions. This creates a safer, more purposeful way for families to stay connected across locations and generations.

Profile & Identity

Peedhee supports independent, dependent, child and memorial profiles. An independent profile is managed by the person it represents. A dependent profile may be managed by an authorised relative for a child, elderly person or someone unable to manage their own account. The “Managed By” label identifies the responsible profile manager. Memorial profiles preserve the life of someone who has passed away. Each profile can contain relationships, important dates, photographs, videos, stories, achievements and timeline events. Profile switching allows an authorised account holder to manage permitted profiles conveniently while keeping ownership, permissions and responsibilities clear.

A Memorial Profile is a respectful space dedicated to a family member who has passed away. It can preserve their biography, family relationships, photographs, videos, voice recordings, achievements, timeline and tributes contributed by people who knew them. The profile remains connected to the family tree, helping future generations understand the person behind the name. Designated family members or administrators manage memorial content and permissions, with editing controls helping protect its accuracy and dignity. Memorial Profiles allow loved ones to remain part of the family’s shared history while preserving their personality, influence and memories for generations.

Memory, Legacy & Storytelling

Life Timelines organise important moments chronologically, helping a profile become a meaningful record rather than a collection of dates. Users can document childhood, education, careers, relationships, migration, achievements, challenges and defining family events. A person may create an autobiography, while authorised relatives can contribute to a biography or memorial history. Contributions can include written stories, photographs, documents, audio and video. Family members may add memories that offer different perspectives on the same person. Together, these contributions create a richer, more human account of someone’s journey, personality, experiences and influence on the family.

Peedhee helps families document the traditions, languages, recipes, rituals, celebrations, beliefs and values that make them unique. Elders can share childhood memories, migration experiences, personal lessons and family knowledge through written stories, voice recordings or videos. This allows younger relatives to understand not only what their family practises, but why those traditions matter. Language-switching features make participation easier for different generations and supported communities. By recording wisdom directly from the people who carry it, families can preserve authentic voices, cultural identity and knowledge that might otherwise disappear over time.

Digital Vault & Future Planning

The Digital Vault is a protected space for preserving your family’s most meaningful digital content. It can hold photographs, videos, audio recordings, letters, documents, personal messages and other important memories. Unlike ordinary cloud storage, Vault content remains connected to the people, relationships and stories that give it meaning. Access can be limited to selected family members and managed through permissions. Families may also use authorised release conditions for certain content. The Digital Vault provides a more organised and purposeful way to protect irreplaceable memories and pass them forward as part of a lasting family legacy.

Future Messages allow you to prepare written, voice or video messages for people you love. A message may be intended for a birthday, graduation, wedding, anniversary, personal achievement or another important future milestone. You can select the recipient and define an appropriate release date or authorised condition. Delivery depends on valid recipient details, verification, legal requirements and technical availability. The feature offers emotional insurance—the reassurance that your voice, encouragement, values and wisdom can remain available for your family. It enables future generations to experience something personal and meaningful from you when it matters most.

Digital Vault & Future Planning

Peedhee is designed around family control and privacy. Profiles, stories, photographs, documents and other content can use Private, Family or Public visibility settings, depending on available options and user permissions. Living profiles are intended to remain private by default. Personal information is protected using secure access controls, role-based permissions and encryption in transit and at rest. Security monitoring and administrative controls support platform safety. Users retain ownership of the content they upload and decide how it is shared. Public visibility should always be chosen carefully because family information may involve multiple people.

Children and dependent family members receive additional protections on Peedhee. Their profiles must be managed by an authorised parent, guardian or suitable family administrator, and the responsible person is identified through the “Managed By” information. Child profiles use enhanced privacy and should not be publicly discoverable. Profile managers control permitted information, relationships, contributions and visibility on the child’s behalf. Peedhee’s approach is designed to support meaningful family participation without giving children unrestricted social-media exposure. Parents and guardians should add only appropriate information and regularly review photographs, stories, connections and permissions associated with managed profiles.

Yes. Peedhee provides controls for managing your profile, content, privacy and interactions. You can update information, adjust visibility, report inappropriate content and block users where available. Data-protection rights may include requesting access, correction, portability or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements. When account deletion is requested, Peedhee may provide a 30-day grace period during which the request can be cancelled. After that period, the account is scheduled for permanent deletion, although limited records may be retained where legally required. Shared family contributions may require careful handling because they can involve other relatives.
